Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York, U.S.A. has been an American actress known for portraying tough, yet vulnerable characters. Linney was raised in the theatre of her family, with her father Romulus Linney being a playwright. Linney received her degree from Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated in the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) in New York City in 1990. In 1990, she began in her Broadway career. She received praise for both Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
