Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin has been an actor in Canada and New Zealand for over a decade. Paquin is a native of Winnipeg, raised in Wellington and made her debut as Flora McGrath when she played her role as Flora in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 years old for Best supporting Actress. Anna Paquin's full title is Anna Helene Paquin. Born July 24th 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was an Canadian birthed New Zealand actress. As an infant, she won her the Academy Award for best support actress. Her role as the talkative and inquisitive girl of Holly Hunter played in The Piano (1993) brought her the award. Paquin was in the role of Frankie Addams, a character in Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad in 1997 her character was the Spanish queen in a smaller character. She played teenage girls in of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and portrayed the Polexia Aphrodisa girl on the screen in Almost Famous (2000).
